Spécialisées dans l’univers du cinéma, les revues professionnelles Film Journal International (Film Expo Group) et Boxoffice (Webedia) fusionnent aux Etats-Unis sous le titre Boxoffice. Cette nouvelle publication professionnelle, dédiée à l’exploitation des salles de cinéma, reste éditée par Webedia via sa filiale Webedia Movies Pro. Son premier numéro paraîtra en janvier 2019.

Ça M’intéresse lance son premier podcast sur un sujet insolite «ma vie avec la mort». Le programme permet de découvrir des métiers de personnes qui côtoient la mort au quotidien.
En juin dernier, Ghosn Capital, détenu par Georges Ghosn, rachetait à Prisma Media le magazine hebdomadaire VSD. Depuis, le magazine a modifié son modèle économique. Il est devenu mensuel depuis le mois de juillet et le numéro d’octobre compte un volume de page deux fois plus important que l’hebdomadaire, soit 156 pages. La maquette a été rénovée et enrichie de thématiques supplémentaires.
Depuis le 1er octobre, Voici (Prisma Media) a lancé «flashs people», un podcast quotidien d’une durée de moins de 2 minutes 30. Il revient sur les actualités marquantes de la veille ou de la journée à venir.
Quelques centaines de salariés du groupe italien Mondadori se sont rassemblés jeudi près du ministère français de la Culture à Paris pour protester contre le rachat des magazines du groupe (Science & Vie, Grazia, Télé Star) par le groupe Reworld, a constaté un journaliste de l’AFP.
À partir du 30 octobre prochain, We Demain s’installe au 2-4 rue de Dieu, dans le 10e arrondissement de Paris, dans un immeuble de coworking – Morning Coworking –, situé à deux pas de la place de la République. Des régions américaines entières sont aujourd’hui privées d’information locale, selon une étude publiée lundi par l’université de Caroline du Nord, une situation en partie due à la disparition de 20% des journaux depuis 2004 aux Etats-Unis.

Le groupe de médias So Press, qui publie notamment Society et So Foot, lance jeudi «L’Etiquette», un nouveau magazine diffusé deux fois par an, qui parlera de mode masculine et de style, mais en revendiquant une approche décalée.
