A l’occasion de la conférence de presse du groupe 20 Minutes et ses actionnaires, Ouest France et le groupe Rossel, l’éditeur est revenu sur les éléments importants de son développement et les actionnaires sur les perspectives de développement. Avec une audience majoritairement numérique (69%), dont 3/4 mobile, 20 Minutes conforte la stratégie éditoriale «digital first» prise il y a 5 ans.

Yves de Kerdrel a quitté ses fonctions de directeur général de Valmonde & Cie (Privinvest media), éditeur du magazine Valeurs Actuelles, pour «mener à bien de nouveaux projets». Il reste cependant éditorialiste du journal. Il est remplacé par Erik Monjalous, président de l’agence de presse 6Médias. Depuis son arrivée en 2012 à la tête du journal, Yves de Kerdrel a développé une ligne politique qu’il qualifiait d’«anti-système» et de «souverainiste» et qui s’est traduite par une hausse des ventes et un rajeunissement du lectorat dans un secteur de la presse en crise.
Xavier Spender a été nommé Directeur Général du groupe Trace par Olivier Laouchez, Président exécutif du groupe.
Le magazine Aime, lancé en décembre dernier par Jean-Baptiste Fourtané et une équipe de journalistes, a mis fin à ses activités, annonce un communiqué du Président et fondateur. La deuxième recherche de fonds réalisée entre avril et mai n’a pas atteint son objectif de 500 000€.
Le Journal de Mickey et L’Équipe publient conjointement le 30 mai un hors-série guide de la Coupe du monde à destination des 7-14 ans. Le contenu propose des éclairages sur la compétition, des BD Disney spéciales foot et des jeux avec le savoir-faire de chaque titre : l’expertise sportive, l’humour et le rire. Ce numéro spécial de 124 pages présente les joueurs à suivre et toutes les équipes en compétition.
20 Minutes et 366 lancent BreakingAD, une offre commerciale digitale commune qui permettra selon l’éditeur de toucher 7M de Français chaque jour (audience Médiamétrie dédupliquée de Web66 et 20 Minutes) avec des critères garantis de visibilité et de brand safety. L’offre regroupe 14 éditeurs, 46 sites et 43 applications mobiles. Elle sera disponible d’ici 2 semaines et pourra être activée à l’occasion de la Coupe du monde de football, du Tour de France et d’autres rendez-vous fédérateurs.
Wibbitz, la plateforme de création vidéo automatisée grâce à l’intelligence artificielle, vient d’annoncer son partenariat avec le groupe d’édition belge Rossel afin de l’aider à diversifier et enrichir la production quotidienne de contenus vidéo à destination de 23 de ses titres médias comme La Voix du Nord, l’Union, le Courrier Picard en France ou Sud info, Le Soir en Belgique.
Après une mise en liquidation judiciaire en février dernier et une tentative de relance qui s’était soldée par un échec en février 2017, un collectif composé d’entrepreneurs de la French Tech et des médias, emmené par Albin Serviant, a levé 700 000€ pour investir dans Têtu. Romain Burrel, précédemment journaliste à Radio France, aux Inrockuptibles et collaborateur de Têtu, est nommé à la direction de la rédaction.
Les sites français du groupe Cerise Gentside et Ohmymag (groupe Prisma Média) viennent d’être intégralement repensés pour favoriser l’expérience utilisateur. Ainsi, la home page affiche des contenus adaptés selon le mode de consommation (mobile, desktop, tablette,…), les temps de chargement des pages ont été améliorés, et l’affichage des publicités est en phase avec les exigences du Digital Ad Trust.
Après l’édition 2017, ELLE (Lagardère Active) s’est à nouveau associée à la marque de cosmétiques Weleda pour l’événement ELLE Zen dédié au bien-être, à la forme et à la relaxation qui aura lieu au Cyclone à Paris les 25 et 26 mai et les 16 et 17 novembre.
